LufCo is hiring an Android Software Engineer to join a collaborative, small team environment to support the development of ShotAlert, a gunshot and explosion detection software. This position will be remote with 10% travel.

What is ShotAlert?  A software-only, active assailant system that automates gunshot and explosion detection, classification, and reporting. ShotAlert sets itself apart from the competition by providing a low-cost, easy to install, military-grade shot detection capability on commodity hardware.

What You’ll Need:

• A Security Clearance will be required to support this effort. (All that are eligible to obtain a clearance are welcome to apply)
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
• 8 years’ experience as a SWE
• Experience with Android / Mobile Application Development
• Experience with C++ and Java
• Experience with some or all of the below:Microsoft HoloLens
• Experience with Acoustics
