DevSecOps Engineer 100% Remote

Description:

This position is on the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) F11 Global SATCOM Configuration Control Element (GSCCE) program. The purpose of GSCCE is to control and monitor the WGS constellation. As part of upgrading the GSCCE to support the new F11 satellite, a new in-service calibration approach is needed.

The WGS Program is looking for a DevOps/Configuration Management Engineer that would be responsible for creating automated builds within AWS. This individual will also have responsibility for configuration management/data management processes and software release/delivery processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Java Springboot development experience . Bonus points if they also have used that experience in for dynamic/automated document and/or report generation.

• Experience with Jenkins pipeline creation (Groovy scripting would be nice to have)

• Docker experience is a huge plus

• Should be fluent in Linux

• Rest API web application experience is important (for building front-ends to visualize metadata)

• Ansible (or Puppet/Chef) experience for automation

• COTS/FOSS (3rd party software) management experience a plus. CM has to manage all the external software and licensing for the Program. Some experience in this area would be helpful but not mandatory.

• Database experience (PostgreSQL)

• Self-Starter - Someone who can manage their own work effectively, context/task switch and pick up where they left off when priorities shift. Someone with a high degree of initiative.

• Secret clearance would be a plus
