The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Pimcore Developer for one of our clients. An Austrian software agency is growing and looking to expand its team with senior Pimcore developers. Worth mentioning that it’s not a client-facing role - the Developers don't have customer contact, and the Managers take care of working out the requirements with the clients and creating tickets, so the Development team can keep focus on engineering and knows clearly what has priority.
Team Composition:
A rather young and dynamic team consists of a system architect, PMs, and about 10 developers. There’s also a QA team that is responsible for E2E testing and other more advanced testing. The team’s core working time is during the day, but some hours of the day can be flexible. The development team has few meetings, but only the essential ones as the main Developers’ focus is on working on code rather than sitting for a long time in meetings. They have a practice of daily standups, which is important to join to discuss the priorities of the day and possible blockers.
What we’re looking for:
- Proficiency with Pimcore.
- Working on PIM and CMS components, sometimes on integrations.
- Writing clean code.
- Testing your code before submitting it for peer-review.
- Writing tests or at least double-checking the completeness of your feature before asking for feedback.
- Working with Docker.
