The Senior QA Engineer is tasked with ensuring Givelify’s high standards of engineering quality while solving unique scalability challenges.


Some of the meaningful work you will perform:



  • Build, run, maintain, and report against automated test suites and data

  • Lead automation efforts for a given product

  • Administer quality-specific tools

  • Execute performance, stress, load tests

  • Collaboratively maintain QA test environments

  • Train less experienced personnel

  • Work on internal improvement initiatives such as quality/metrics dashboards, test harnesses, and similar QA-specific projects

  • Learn new products and grow into an SME for a given product line

  • Contribute to and help mature testing practices at Givelify

  • Ensure test assets are easily consumable by other teams, both internal (automation) and external (product).

  • Contribute to cross-functional team quality best practices.

  • Provide testing services and defect information to product teams as assigned


We welcome your experience and talents:



  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (STEM)

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience

  • Coding experience using a variety of tools and languages

  • Strong root cause analysis skills

  • Can write performance test scripts

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle and SQL Server

  • Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments

  • Deep knowledge of automated test methodologies and infrastructure, performance/stress/load testing, estimating, and debugging

  • Automated test experience using a variety of tools and techniques

  • API and Device testing experience

  • Experience with a variety of relevant coding languages

  • Strong root cause analysis skills

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle and SQL Server

  • Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, project and bug management processes
